Can't log in with your new phone number?
No problem! As long as you can access the email address on your Dave account, you have a couple of options to get back in.
Option 1: Reset your password
- From the login screen, tap Log in with password
- Enter the email address for your Dave account (and make sure you can access it)
- Tap Need help? and tap Reset password
- Tap Use email address instead
- Check your email for the next steps to log in
Option 2: Get a one-time link
- From the login screen, tap Log in with password
- Enter the email address for your Dave account (and make sure you can access it)
- Tap Use another way to log in and tap Send a one-time link to my email
- Check your email for the next steps to log in
Didn't get an email from us?
- Double-check your spam or junk folder for a message from no-reply@dave.com
- Not sure which email you use for Dave? Try any other email addresses you might have used when you signed up
- If you requested the link a few times already, make sure you’re using the most recent one we sent
Once you’re logged in, head to your settings to make sure your phone number and email are up to date.
Forgot your password and can’t access your email?
Don’t worry. If you still have the phone number connected to your Dave account, you can get back in. Here’s how:
- From the login screen, tap Log in with password
- Enter your phone number that you used for Dave
- Tap Use another way to log in, then tap Text me a code
- Enter the 6-digit code we text you
- Sometimes we’ll ask for extra verification to make sure you’re you. If we ask for this in the app, select Verify with information and ID and follow the steps
Once you’re logged back in, take a moment to update your email address in your account settings.
