What’s happening to my Dave accounts?
Dave is moving its banking services from Evolve Bank & Trust to Coastal Community Bank. We will continue to provide you the best products and service as a valued Dave member.
To continue using Dave’s services, we need your consent to open an ExtraCash, Dave Checking, and Goals accounts with Coastal. Once we’ve confirmed your new accounts have been opened, we’ll automatically close your old accounts that were under Evolve Bank. Additional details can be found in the account agreement, see here.
You’ll have new account and routing numbers, and you’ll have to request a new debit card for your Dave Checking account. Please update any automatic bill payments you make using your Dave Checking account.

What do I need to do?
After you’ve agreed to Coastal Community Bank’s terms, we’ll take care of moving your existing ExtraCash, Dave Checking, or Goals accounts to Coastal Community Bank. Most members will not need to take any additional action during the process. We'll send you an email as soon as everything's ready and let you know if any additional steps are needed. Until then, just keep using Dave like normal.
Will this affect my other bank accounts?
No, only your existing ExtraCash, Dave Checking, or Goals accounts associated with Dave are moving to Coastal Community Bank. Any external bank accounts you have outside of Dave will remain unchanged.
Is the move secure?
Yes, Coastal Community Bank is an FDIC-insured institution, and your information will continue to be handled in accordance with privacy and security standards throughout the entire process.
Will any new accounts be opened for me?
As part of the transition to Coastal Community Bank, new ExtraCash, Dave Checking, or Goals accounts will be opened for you once the transition is complete. New routing and account numbers will be assigned to your accounts. However, your account history, balance, and access to your accounts will remain available throughout the transition.
