To replace your physical or digital Dave debit card, in the Dave app:
- Go to your settings ⚙️
- Tap Dave Checking
- Tap on Digital & physical cards
- Swipe to the physical or debit card
- Tap Replace physical or digital card
- Tap Issue new card and confirm
To get a new digital Dave debit card, follow these same steps as getting a physical card, but swipe to the digital debit card instead.
What happens after I replace my card in the Dave app?
- Replacing your digital or physical Dave debit card will automatically disable your current card
- Your physical Dave debit card will be sent via USPS and can take up to 10 business days (not including weekends and holidays) to receive
- While you wait for your physical Dave debit card to arrive, you can use your digital Dave debit card to make purchases online or add it to your digital wallet, like Apple Pay or G Pay, to make in-person purchases at merchants that accept tap transactions

What should I do if my card is lost or was stolen?
In the case you believe that your Dave Debit Mastercard® has become lost or stolen, you should immediately freeze your card to block any new transactions. Then, request a new card in the app.
Be sure to also review your transactions to ensure that you recognize all recent activity. If you find any issues with your transactions, please review the article Filing a dispute.
The app won't let me replace my debit card
You can replace both your physical and digital Dave debit cards up to 4 times per year.
If you reach your reissue limit for digital Dave debit cards, you’ll need to wait to request a replacement card. Until then you can continue to use your physical Dave debit card.
