The money in your Dave Checking account is ready for you to spend using your Dave debit card or digital Dave debit card. You can also withdraw cash from an ATM, although a fee applies to those out of network. You can use any in-network (MoneyPass®) ATM network for no fee. Tap here to view an ATM near you.
I need help transferring money to my bank.
If you want to move funds from Dave Checking to your connected bank, simply navigate to the Home tab and tap Withdraw. Or, tap here to get there directly.
However, if you want to get your ExtraCash to your connected bank, you’ll be able to choose the delivery method after you choose how much you want to transfer from your ExtraCash account. Learn more in our ExtraCash FAQs.
For your Dave Checking account, you have the option to transfer your funds:
- To your external debit card and receive your funds within 30 mins. Please note, instant withdrawals have a 1.5% fee of the transferred amount and there is a $25 minimum.
- To your external bank account and receive your funds in up to 3 business days, with no fee.
You can also send yourself a check, or pay your bills via check, by sending it to a recipient or company of your choice. Checks typically arrive within 5 business days after being requested in the Dave app, so be sure to plan accordingly.
