We'd love to keep you as part of our Dave family, but we understand if you want to close your account.
You are able to close your account in the app yourself. Follow these steps:
1. Navigate to your settings ⚙️
2. Tap Edit profile (under your name)
3. Scroll and tap Close my Dave Account
4. Select the reason why you want to close
5. Confirm your account closure
Closing your Dave account means closing all your financial accounts with us. If you close your ExtraCash account, you won’t be able to take ExtraCash advances
Please note, deleting the Dave app will not close your Dave account.
Once your account is closed, you will receive a final bank statement at the beginning of the following month.
