Connecting your bank account helps improve your eligibility for ExtraCash™.
Dave takes a look at the banking activity of your connected account, like balance, deposits and spending, and account age to calculate the highest possible ExtraCash™ amount we can offer you. This is why we recommend adding your primary bank account.
Why did my bank account disconnect?
There can be various reasons for your external bank to disconnect from Dave, but it's often due to the connection needing a refresh.
You can simply add your bank back to Dave like you did previously. Tap here to get started.
I’m having issues connecting my bank account
If you're having issues changing the bank you have connected, double check your login credentials by logging in your external bank's app. Note that Dave currently doesn't support PayPal, American Express, Discover, Cash App, Credit Karma, credit cards, most prepaid cards, or shared bank accounts.
Also, if you have an outstanding ExtraCash™ balance, you'll need to settle it before updating your bank.
