Where can I see if I am eligible for ExtraCash™?
To view if you're eligible for ExtraCash™: In the Dave app, tap on the ExtraCash™ tab. You will be shown if you are eligible for ExtraCash™ and the amount.
The amount you are eligible for will be valid for 24 hours. Each day, the limit could change.
How do I take ExtraCash™?
If you're eligible for ExtraCash™:
- From the ExtraCash™ screen, tap Get cash
- Select where you'd like to transfer the ExtraCash™ funds
- Review the agreement page and accept the terms. Be sure that you can settle the ExtraCash™ balance on the settlement date.
- Success! Your funds will be on their way via the transfer method selected.
What factors determine the ExtraCash™ amount that I am eligible for?
Your ExtraCash™ eligibility is determined by analyzing your connected bank account, and if applicable, your Dave Checking account.
Dave considers a wide variety of data points including:
- If you have any outstanding ExtraCash™
- An external bank account with a minimum 60-day history and a positive balance
- At least three (3) recurring deposits
- Your income history and spending patterns
- A total monthly deposit amount of $1,000 or more, to get a higher ExtraCash™ amount
Based on these factors and more, the ExtraCash™ you are eligible for updates daily and each day, the limit may change.
To have your eligibility re-evaluated, connect another bank account with Dave.
Please note, that you won’t be able to take ExtraCash™ if you have any outstanding balances.
