Cashing a check

To deposit a check into your Dave Checking account

1. From the Home screen or Dave Checking screen, tap Scan a check
2. Tap Scan check again
3. Take a picture of the front and back of the check and enter the check amount.
4. Select how fast you'd like the funds.

Our third-party partner, Ingo, charges 2% of the check amount for preprinted signature payroll and government checks (as determined by Ingo) and 5% of the check amount for other checks including personal checks; there is a $5 minimum for all expedited transactions.

Alternatively, you can choose to deposit the check, which can take up to 10 days, for no fee.

Cashing checks limits

• $10,000 per day
• $25,000 per month (on a rolling month basis)
