Here are some ways you can fund your Dave Spending account:
Set up a direct deposit
We can help you set up your direct deposit automatically or generate a form for you to email to your HR team. Either way you choose, set up is fast and easy.
Transfer from an external account
You can create a one-time or recurring bank transfer (ACH) from your connected external bank account to your Dave Spending account. Transfers made from within the Dave app are typically available within 5 business days.
Use Apple Pay or G Pay
When you add money using Apple Pay or G Pay, you should see it show up in your Dave Spending account in moments. To make a transfer, you'll need to make sure that your linked card is verified in your "Wallet" by following their verification method. Please note, this option does have a small fee.
Cash a check
Just take a picture of the front and back of the check and enter the check amount. You'll be able to choose a no fee deposit (up to 10 days) or get your funds in moments for a small fee.
You can deposit cash to your Dave Spending account anywhere with a Green Dot network symbol.
Go to Accounts and tap Find ATM to view the nearest participating retailers (including Rite-Aid, Dollar General, etc.)
Please note, you can load cash only at the point of sale at participating retailers. You are unable to deposit cash at an ATM. The retailer will be able to provide you the funding timeframe and some will also print the processing timeframe on the receipt.
