If you are seeing two-small deposits from Dave in your bank account and have not been automatically verified, you have the option to manually enter the amount after three business days since trying to connect your external bank account.
Please keep in mind, micro-deposit verification normally takes four business days to complete automatically.
If you see the option Tap to verify on your home screen, please follow these steps:
- Click Tap to verify
- Select Manual verify
- Enter the amount of each micro-deposit and click confirm
- Example- First deposit: $0.07, Second deposit: $0.32
Dave will then connect to the account and match the amounts that were manually entered. If the amounts are able to be located, your bank account will be verified.
Still running into trouble?
Sometimes, micro-deposit verification may need some extra human guidance. Here are some of the common issues we see during verification.
- Incorrect Routing Number
- Not seeing the micro-deposits
- Is your account a Prepaid? If so, use a different bank account if you have one!
- If no, contact Dave Support
- Have multiple bank accounts? Check to see if the deposits were received in your other accounts
- If they posted in a different account? Retrigger the process by going to the "Account" tab in your Dave app. Tap on your linked bank account, select "Change bank" and then choose the same account from the list. You'll be prompted to re-enter your email and password for the checking account.
- If nothing received, contact Dave Support
- Is your account a Prepaid? If so, use a different bank account if you have one!
