Leaving an optional tip
Tips allow us to help people without charging the insane interest rates of most banks. And with every optional tip, we provide meals to families in partnership with Feeding America®.
When taking an ExtraCash™ advance, you can choose an optional pre-set tip amount or Leave a custom tip.
Updating your tip
You have the option to update your tip amount 24 hours after taking an advance, up until settlement begins.
To update your optional tip:
1. Navigate to ExtraCash
2. Tap Settle now (Don't worry, this will not start a settlement)
3. Tap the current Tip amount
4. Set the desired optional tip amount and confirm
Please note, you will be unable to update your tip in the app if settlement has already begun. If you just took an advance today, you can edit your tip in the app tomorrow.
