Want to add some new income to help you budget? Awesome! Dave makes adding new paychecks easy.
Dave will automatically predict transactions that qualify as direct deposits (electronic paycheck transfers from your employer into your checking account).
Here are the steps on how to add your income:
- Click on the calendar icon on the right-hand side of the home page and select Add +
- Select + Add New
- Chose your employer from the list provided
- Enter your pay schedule and click Confirm Pay Schedule
If you're not seeing your income listed or want to list another source of income, click Add Paycheck and enter the Name, Amount & How Often you get paid.
Click Save Income and you're all set! Dave will use this information to provide even more accurate predictions.
Heads up! Adding income is great for budgeting, but you won't be able to advance from it.
In order to advance a paycheck, Dave will need to verify your income through your bank records.
