While taking an ExtraCash™ advance, you are shown a settlement date that you’ll need to agree to that allows Dave to automatically settle your ExtraCash™ balance on that date.
Dave will settle your ExtraCash™ balance using the methods shown when taking an ExtraCash™ advance. If Dave is unable to settle the entire balance on your settlement date, you may see smaller partial settlements that are applied toward your balance.
To view your recent ExtraCash™ advance details, navigate to your ExtraCash tab and tap Recent activity.
How is my settlement date determined?
Your settlement date will be set to your next payday - or, if we can't detect your payday, the nearest Friday.
If your payday is once a month and it is more than 14 days from your next payday, the settlement date will be set to the nearest Friday.
Can I change my settlement date?
Settlement dates are set when you take an ExtraCash™ advance and cannot be changed; however there are no late fees or penalties for late settlement, and since we don’t report to credit bureaus, it won’t affect your credit.
If Dave can detect that there is an available balance, we will settle up to the full amount. Partial settlements (min of $5) will only be collected as funds become available.We will settle the full amount if your outstanding balance is less than $5.
