There’s different ways to fund your Dave Checking account. From the home screen, tap on Add money to get started.
Set up direct deposit
Set up your direct deposit to go to your Dave Checking account and get paid up to 2 days early! Please note, the exact timing of your deposit is dependent on your employer or sender.
From your external bank account
Create a one-time or recurring bank transfer via ACH from your external bank account. With this option, funds are typically available within 5 business days.
From your external debit card
Fund your account using your external debit card. There's a $5 minimum for debit card transfers and funds are typically available in your account instantly.
Cash deposit
Add cash to your Dave Checking by visiting participating retailers and presenting a barcode generated in the app. You may also have the option to swipe your card to load cash if the barcode option is not available. Find the nearest participating retailers from within the Dave app.

Deposit a check into your Dave Checking by scanning a picture!
